/ One Night In Bangkok At The Millennium Hilton
I had one night in Bangkok and that one night was made a memorable one by the Millennium Hilton hotel. I was greeted with extreme friendliness and attentiveness before I could even step out of the taxi I arrived in.
I stayed in the King Executive Suite at the Millennium Hilton, and it felt like pure luxury from the moment I walked in the room. A spectacular panoramic view of Bangkok and the Chao Praya river greeted me while the hotel’s signature wild mint scent floated across my room from the diffuser.
The huge desk was perfect for getting some work done along with the capsule coffee maker that came with the room. (Executive lounge privileges came with the room and even included free iPad rental which I thought was a nice perk.) The room also included 2 items of clothing to be pressed per day and concierge services.
The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in with the perfect level of firmness and crisply pressed sheets which made getting up in the morning really hard!
I felt rather decadent having one and a half bathrooms all to myself, and really enjoyed soaking in the whirlpool bathtub and the fluffy bathrobe and slippers that were provided.
My favorite part of the evening was being able to order dinner by pressing a “Magic” button. That’s one feature I wish was always with me. My dessert was the big bowl of fruit that was left for me in my room.
When you stay at the Millennium Hilton, don’t miss the 360 Rooftop Bar. It’s a really magical way to get a feel for the energy that is Bangkok.
The hotel has a pool, fitness room, spa, and several restaurants to choose from. They also offer a free shuttle boat service, so you can explore the city. I really enjoyed my stay here at the Millenium Hilton, and I would definitely stay here again.
