Whatever you do, don’t miss the buildings designed by Architect Antoni Gaudí. His beautiful designs are breathtaking and you won’t see buildings like his anywhere else. Some of the ones not to miss are Casa Vicens, La Pedrera, Parc Güell, Casa Batlló, and, of course, La Sagrada Familia.
7. Free WiFi
I love that Barcelona has hundreds of free WiFi spots all over the city. I wish more cities would follow in its footsteps.
8. The Culture
There are wonderful art museums all over Barcelona from MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona), the Picasso Museum, the Miró Foundation and the MNAC (Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya). There are also many festivals throughout the year and many places to see live music and theater.
9. The Food And Wine
From tapas to Paella, you don’t want to miss the food in Spain. For me the food is a good reason to visit Barcelona all on its own. Spanish food is some of my favorite, and Barcelona has some of the greatest restaurants in Spain. Make sure to taste the excellent wine and cava, too.
10. The Nightlife
Barcelona has some of the most fun nightlife in the world. Most of the clubs stay open until 6 AM, so the party never stops.
Really? A free wifi? Its such a big privilege for travellers.
