I recently stayed at the AthensWas hotel in Athens, Greece, and I didn’t want to leave this lovely boutique hotel. Everything about the hotel from the design, to the location, to the incredible staff was flawless. The Rooms At AthensWas Athens Hotel

I absolutely loved my room at the AthensWas Hotel. This Athens hotel has managed to combine comfort with stylish design in a way that left me feeling at home and relaxed from the minute I walked in.

I stayed in a Superior Deluxe room, and it was obvious that every item had been curated with the utmost attention to detail. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the colors in the room were peaceful and soothing.

The bathroom was lovely, and the rain shower was strong and powerful, and gave me one of the best showers I’ve had in a long time. I also loved the amenities provided, natural Greek products from Korres.

The surprising part about my stay at AthensWas was that I had my own veranda, and it was huge. It provided a great sanctuary to rest after doing lots of shopping in the nearby Plaka.

There are only four rooms per floor, so I loved the quite atmosphere that staying in a small hotel provided. There was also a small workout room and business center to use as well.

The Restaurant And Roof Top Bar At AthensWas

I also loved the roof top bar/restaurant at Athens Was. Modern Restaurant had a perfect view of the Acropolis, and the bar was surrounded by flowers, lavender, and other herbs. They also served dinner here, which I heard other guests raving about.

Breakfast At AthensWas

I loved that breakfast was made to order. I had a local Greek cheese pie, fruit salad, spinach scrambled eggs, and thick Greek yogurt drizzled with honey. I loved the healthy options that this Athens hotel had to offer.

The Service At AthensWas

The absolute best part about staying at AthensWas was the customer service that I received. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure that I had an excellent stay in Athens. The airline had lost my luggage and Pol and another employee called the airline several times to try to help my locate my bag. When I asked if a store was still open to go and buy some essentials, Nico offered to walk to the store to check. The staff went above and beyond, and their kindness is something I will always remember.

Location

The AthensWas hotel had the perfect location. It was just steps from the Plaka, the Acropolis, and the Acropolis Museum. I loved being able to walk anywhere I wanted to go, and I found it easy to get around from the hotel. The hotel was also located in walking distance to the Metro station, making it easy to get to anywhere in Athens that I wanted to go.

I highly recommend a stay at AthensWas. This Athens hotel will offer you a perfect place to stay in Athens.
