Sacred Sites And Spiritual Experiences At Mt. Shasta
The sacred sites and spiritual experiences at Mt. Shasta are well known, so I thought I’d take a trip and visit them myself. The Native Americans of the area have always felt that this area of the Cascade Mountains was the center of the Universe. Many have had experiences with ancient Lemurians, angels, faeries, and aliens. While I didn’t have any experiences of that magnitude, I did enjoy the sacred sites that I visited. Mt. Shasta has many energy vortexes and portals, and probably the most well-known spot for experiencing them is Panther Meadows, an ancient outdoor temple site. It’s known as a doorway between dimensions, and is a special vortex spot.…

The Best Things To Do In Milos, Greece
Milos, one of the Cyclades islands, has become quite the destination in Greece. It was quite a shock for me coming from the tranquil islands of Sifnos and then Koufonisia to arrive at busy Milos with its many tourists. I still enjoyed it, but because of the crowds, not as much as the other two islands. There were beautiful beaches and beautiful rock formations, but I just didn’t find that the food measured up to the islands I had just come from. It felt like a place that catered to tourists more than it preserved the local culture, but there are some things like the cliffs of Kleftiko that made…

Discovering Paradise: The Best Koufonisia Beaches
If you’re looking for a Greek island with exquisite beaches that take your breath away, where the best way to spend a day is to languidly lie in the sun, and where the nights grow quiet with peaceful stillness, than Koufonisia is your place. When planning a trip to Greece, don’t miss the Greek islands, especially those of Koufonisia. The Koufonisia beaches are some of the most awe-inspiring I’ve ever seen, and this island of about 300 people still remains untouched, as renting sunbeds isn’t allowed and recreational boats and ships must stay offshore. Some people would be bored, but I’m the type that can spend hours hiking and staring…

Exploring Florida Springs: Nature’s Liquid Jewels
My absolute favorite thing about living in Florida so far has been exploring the Florida Springs. They are absolutely breathtaking. The deep colors and the clear waters make for an otherworldly experience, and I have seen so much wildlife on these excursions. I’ve seen manatees, alligators, more turtles than I can count, roseate spoonbills, and so many other birds. Florida has over 1,000 springs, so I still have many more to explore, but these have been my favorite Florida Springs so far. Exploring Florida Springs 1. Three Sisters Springs Three Sisters Springs is part of the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, and is the place to go in winter if…

Why Sao Miguel In The Azores Should Be Next On Your Bucket List
What travel has taught me the most is flexibility, as there are always things that can go wrong. But, if you’re willing to change the plan and adapt, things often turn out better than you planned them. This recently happened to me when I unexpectedly went to Sao Miguel, in Portugal’s Azores Islands. I had set out to go on a volunteer whale watching expedition on the island of Horta, which turned out to be one of the worst trips I’ve ever been on. So, after hearing about how incredible the nearby island of Sao Miguel was, I decided to leave the Horta fiasco early, and go explore the lush…
