Casa Amora- A Welcoming Place To Stay In Lisbon, Portugal
Casa Amora is a charming guesthouse in Lisbon located near the Rato Metro stop in the Praça Amoreiras neighborhood. I absolutely loved the garden patio area where I had breakfast each morning and just hung out and relaxed.
Casa Amora also prepares a nice breakfast with casseroles, rice pudding, eggs made the way you want them, fresh squeezed juices, coffee, and meats and cheeses. (Go early, though, if you don’t want to miss the casseroles. Breakfast is buffet- style, and they will run out of them if you sleep in!) I thought it was great that Juan, the manager was on site every morning to make sure that I had everything I needed, and to give me advice for the day. I loved the list of restaurants that Casa Amora provides with their favorites listed. Juan also let it be known that I could call him 24 hours a day if I needed any advice or help.
I stayed in the spacious studio room which was great. It was like being in an apartment, and I even had a mini-kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower had great pressure, too. The studio was sparkling clean, and I love that there was cold bottles of water in the fridge, fruit left in a bowl on the table, and even a full cookie jar for snacking!
Most of all, I appreciated that Casa Amora is conscious of the environment. They used glass bottles for water, not plastic. They also change the sheets once every three days, and try to encourage the guests to reuse the towels before washing them.
Casa Amora is a great place to stay in Lisbon, and you can see why it deserves the #1 spot for Bed and Breakfasts on TripAdvisor.

Looks great-it will come in handy with all the friends & family we have coming over throughout the summer. And just around the corner from us..
Yes, it was super cute, and it was great to have lots of room!
