Colombo, Sri Lanka wasn’t my favorite place to visit, but I still found beauty in this hectic city. I still managed to find tranquil spots, interesting people, and more than my share of interesting stories to tell! I hope that you enjoy my pictures of Colombo, Sri Lanka!

I’ve never been to Colombo but your photos paint an interesting picture. I love your images and the way you are able to put us in the middle of a destination without even writing a word, very nice indeed!

The only time I stopped in Colombo was when we needed to change flight to get to Italy from Bangkok. I’ve only seen Colombo’s airport and nothing else considering we had only few hours, not enough time to explore the city.
Those pictures look pretty nice, we should go back there at some point and stay for a bit longer 🙂

I’m going to Sri Lanka in August! How is it? Can you recommend some places to visit? I’m trying to do some research before getting there so that I know which spots to hit first.

I had a hard time traveling there alone as a blonde, single woman. I also thought it was overpriced. But if you do go, Yala National Park was the best spot. I will have more Escape Guides coming up on my website about more places in Sri Lanka soon.
