How To Blog For Money
Many people would like to blog for money, but they don’t know where to start. I love the freedom that blogging gives me to travel when I want, to work when I want, and to write about something that I’m passionate about. Since starting my travel blog, I have had a lot of people ask me how they can start their own and make money from it. Here’s how I got started. When I began, I knew nothing about blogging, so I signed up for a course called Superstar Blogging. I learned so much from this course. There are lessons on creating content, advice on getting traffic from social media, and…

Yala Park-Why You Should Go To Sri Lanka-Just Be Careful Of The Suicidal Cows!
Most people don’t know much about Sri Lanka. I know I didn’t. I came because it sounded exotic, and because I hadn’t been before. Yala Park made me glad that I had journeyed so far. The variety of animals is astounding. I am convinced that this is where Noah must have parked his ark. I saw elephants, leopards, monkeys, water buffalo, crocodiles, monitor lizards, beautiful birds, a mongoose, wild boar, deer, and so much more. I highly recommend going to Yala Park. That is, if you get there alive. My driver drove like many of the people in Asia, at breakneck speeds, plowing down anything that should get in the…

Planning A Trip- Should I Plan Everything Ahead Of Time Or Just Wing It?
Oh, the dilemma. When planning a trip, should you book everything ahead of time, or just do it as you travel, allowing yourself to be spontaneous and to go with the flow. I am a planner. When I travel for short time periods, I usually book everything in advance and know where I will be on a certain day. However, at the moment, since I am traveling for three months, I decided to do something different and be spontaneous. After all, I have plenty of time, and it’s OK, if I’m not in a certain place on a certain day. However, not planning ahead of time can have it’s drawbacks…

Saving Money For Travel: How I Saved $300 With This Basket Of Cinnamon Rolls
Saving money to travel with. Many people ask me how I am able to do it. It seems that there is a whole economy that people have forgotten about. The bartering economy is the best way I know of to save money. I am about to leave on a three-month travel adventure to Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. And, I knew that I was going to need to have yard work done while I was gone. I usually do my yard work myself, so I just don’t have the money to spend on a gardener while I’m gone. Well, fortunately I came up with a plan! I knew how much…

Costa Rica
I loved the diversity of Costa Rica when I traveled there. In just two weeks I got to have so many different kinds of experiences and see so many different types of things. I got to relax on a deserted beach that was on the edge of a rainforest. Truly there was nothing like lying on the beach and having scarlet macaws fly over and monkeys playing in the trees behind me. Hiking through the rainforest was breathtaking with its huge blue butterflies flying by, poison dart frogs, bats, anteaters, sloths, and the unusual coati, which was an animal I didn’t even know existed before my Costa Rican trip. The…
