Gili Air was my favorite of the three Gili Islands. It was by far the most lush with its cows and agriculture. It also had quaint beach bars and areas that just encouraged you to just sit and chill and let your worries fade away. I can’t wait to go back to Gili Air and spend more time there. Hard At Work

Gili Meno is the quiet island. It has the best beaches of the three Gili Islands, and is the only one of the three islands with rooms on the beach. Gili Meno is a place to visit if you just want to spend time getting lost in your own thoughts, enjoying the beautiful scenery, listening to the lapping waves, and watching the world go by.

Gili Trawangan is now very different than when I first visited her stunning glory seven years ago. Seven years ago, she was a sleepy glorious island with open air tiki bars set up with couches under the stars and Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix playing in the background. Now her nightlife is very loud and bordering on the obnoxious with Top 40 and Reggae filling the streets. During the day,though, her colors still astound, her coral still washes up on her shores, and her sunsets will still touch your heart.
