Heven Zipolite: A Bed And Breakfast With A View
Heven Zipolite is just that. Complete bliss that leaves you definitely feeling like you are in heaven! The views are stunning, and I loved being able to watch the sun rise and set each night from Heven. The infinity pool has one of the best views I’ve ever seen. And, breakfast is included in the room rate! (I don’t know of any other place in Zipolite that includes breakfast.)
Heven Zipolite is like no other bed and breakfast on Earth! For one, it’s clothing optional, so you don’t have to put your clothes back on after spending time at the nude beach, like you do at many of the other hotels in Zipolite.
What made Heven even more special is just about all the furniture is hand-crafted in Mexico. The decor was stunning, and each room is different. There is no hot water in most of the rooms, but the weather is so warm, the water isn’t freezing, so it’s not a big deal.
Victor and Andrea were such lovely hosts. They made me feel very welcome and always made sure that I had everything I needed.
What made Heven feel even more like a home away from home were the adorable cats and dogs that they have rescued. They watched the sun rise each morning with me, and I miss them everyday. There is a beautiful view from Heven Zipolite of the entire beach, and the sun rises right there. It’s definitely worth getting up early for.
The incredible thing about Heven Zipolite is that in the evenings, you can also see the sun set. How many places in the world can you watch the sun rise and set from the same place?
I don’t think there’s any place in the world like Heven, so don’t miss this gem when you go to Zipolite. Note: Heven is adults only. Children under age 18 are not permitted.
At Heven Zipolite, the breakfast is made to order. When I was there, there was a choice of omelettes, fruit and granola, cake (yes, in Heven, you get to eat cake for breakfast), and other things. The coffee was strong and delightful, something you don’t always find in Mexico.
The infinity pool is gorgeous and you can watch and hear the waves crash below. You rarely get views like this, especially with the affordable price that Heven charges for its rooms. Make sure to book early, as they get fully booked far in advance.
At Heven Zipolite, every room is different, so take a look at their website, to see which one is right for you.

Looks just fantastic and I love the dogs – we were recently in a guesthouse in South Africa where they had 4 dogs and 4 cats and I just loved being around the animals.
Looking forward to coming to Mexico to see my mom (I come once a year). This year we’re meeting up in San Cristobal de las Casas. Always love Mexico!

I’ve heard San Cristobal is fantastic. Have a great time!
